Senior IP Designer - Contract

NTech is looking to recruit an experienced Senior IP Design Engineer for this large scale global telecoms company.

The ideal candidate would be from a telecoms/SP background.

Requirements:-

Requirement is for a Senior IP Network designer

Must have experience and excellent knowledge of Telco IP Design, Configuration and Management

Must have detailed working knowledge of LAN and Datacentre switching design

Must have detailed knowledge and understanding of IP design and Telco Routing technologies, BGP, VRRP, OSPF

Proven Design experience of networks including IP connectivity matrix

Strong understanding of MPLS

Must have either Juniper or Cisco experience.

Detailed knowledge and understanding of Linux Networking

Must have Virtualisation understanding and specifically VNET design with hands on configuration and troubleshooting experience.

Any understanding of Openstack would be advantageous

Ability to work under pressure within a challenging and dynamic environment

Excellent communication and ability to converse at senior levels with customers and peers
